Poetry Prompt: Night-Time

May 22, 2019

by Cassandra Coeur

Oh mother of all fears

Within your fold they originate

Creatures of unknown depths

Haunt the senses with their unexistence

No Harm befalls us, however,

because

Forever, 'til daylight

You envelop us as our silent partner

Sleep invented

As a means to pass your entropy

We arise after your love

Sated, relaxed, and ready
